Purpleman, born Anthony Jones on January 4, 1962, in the Waterhouse District of Kingston, Jamaica, was a notable Jamaican dancehall deejay. He was one of three albino deejays in the 1980s, alongside Purpleman and King. Often referring to himself as Yellowman, he even released an album under that name. Purpleman passed away on August 14, 2020, due to heart-related ailments.
