Pyrame is a Lausanne-born, Berlin-based physicist turned music, record, and film producer who has made a significant mark in the electronic music scene. His journey is one of wanderlust and cosmic energy, reflecting his experiences and adventures around the world. A poet at heart, Pyrame channels raw emotion into his melodies and lyrics, drawing inspiration from Greek Mythology and the myth of “Pyramus and Thisbe,” which also serves as the namesake for his label, T H I S B E Recordings. With a unique blend of synth-pop, post-disco, and progressive electronica, Pyrame's sound is characterized by surrealism, heritage, and fantasy. Influenced by new wave, metal, and grunge during his formative years, he later found inspiration in artists like LDC Soundsystem. Having engaged with both classical and electronic music throughout his life and participated in various bands, Pyrame ultimately decided to prioritize his passion for music. He released his debut EP, “A Fine Life,” a synth/electro/cosmic-pop collection, in June 2019, followed by his second EP, "The Pace of Everything that Lives" (2020), which features a darker, more electro tone and delves into techno.
