Q-Unique is an accomplished artist best known for his work with the Brooklyn-based crew The Arsonists, which has been active since 1995 and has released numerous singles and two critically acclaimed albums. As a member of the renowned Rock Steady Crew, he has appeared in notable music videos, including The Roots' "Clones" and Def Squad's remake of "Rappers Delight." Q's charisma has also led him to participate in advertising campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola and Armani. In 2002, he was chosen to rap and host for MTV's 2002 Video Music Awards NYC Street Campaign. Notably, he received a Proclamation from the Mayor of NYC, declaring July 26, 2003, "Rock Steady Crew Day." After The Arsonists disbanded, Q-Unique embarked on a solo career, aided by a long-time friend and CEO who helped him shine as an individual artist. His highly anticipated solo debut album, "Vengeance Is Mine," showcased his personal struggles and triumphs, establishing him as a unique voice in the industry. The album is marked by intricate wordplay, passionate delivery, and exceptional production. Q has since collaborated with various artists, including work on the new album “Reggaetony” and contributions to an upcoming album featuring Fieldy, a member of a multi-platinum group.
