Quatuor Bozzini, founded in 1999, has established itself as a distinctive string quartet within the rich landscape of both historical and contemporary music. Based in Montréal, the ensemble is an integral part of the vibrant new music scene, contributing to it in a constructive manner. Known for their passionate performances, Quatuor Bozzini believes in the cultural and social significance of the music they play. Their diverse repertoire is curated to foster meaningful conversations among various creative voices, regardless of their level of recognition. To date, the quartet has commissioned over forty works and premiered more than a hundred pieces from a repertoire that includes over a hundred composers.
