Quincicasm is a British quintet likely hailing from Gloucestershire, known for their occasional appearances in charity shops across southwest England. Their sole eponymous album was recorded live during a performance for school children and parents at Dartington College Hall, located near Totnes, Devon. The band was formed by a keyboardist who was an ex-student of Dartington College and later achieved success with a rock band in the summer of 1978. He also collaborated with another project. The keyboardist was roommates with a cellist who went on to play with another group. Additionally, the keyboardist spent some time living with the drummer in Archway, London. The members of Quincicasm shared a strong interest in music, which is reflected in their name.
