Radio 4 was an American dance-punk band formed in 1999 in Brooklyn, New York. The original lineup consisted of Anthony Roman (bass, lead vocals), Tommy Williams (guitar, vocals), and Greg Collins (drums). They quickly wrote a three-song EP for the New Jersey label Gern Blandsten. Their debut album, "The New Song And Dance," was produced and released on Gern Blandsten in 2000. Two years later, Radio 4 released their second album, produced by the duo known as DFA, which was licensed by City Slang for overseas distribution. This album featured a remix 12" that pushed the band's sound further into dance realms, reinforcing their dance-rock style. The band continued to produce club-friendly remixes and expanded their distribution worldwide. Members of Radio 4 included Greg Collins (drums/percussion), Anthony Roman (vocals/bass/keyboard), Dave Milone (vocals/guitar), Gerard Garone (keyboards), and P.J. O'Connor (percussion). The band was named after a song by P.I.L. from their 1979 album.
