**Radiohead Bio** Radiohead is an electronic and alternative rock band formed in 1985 in Oxfordshire, England. The band's name is derived from the song "Radio Head" from the "True Stories" album. Initially known as On a Friday, they released their first single in 1992, but it was the cathartic "Creep" from their debut album "Pablo Honey" (1993) that became a worldwide hit, coinciding with the rise of grunge music. While they were initially seen as a one-hit wonder outside the UK, Radiohead gained significant popularity at home with their second album, "The Bends" (1995), which showcased dense guitar atmospheres and frontman Thom Yorke's expressive vocals. The album included hits like "High & Dry" and "Fake Plastic Trees." Their third album, "OK Computer" (1997), received widespread acclaim and is often regarded as a landmark record of the 1990s, exploring themes of modern alienation.
