Raekwon, born on January 12, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York, is an African American rapper and a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. Although he may not be as commercially successful as some of his peers, he gained worldwide acclaim with his 1995 album "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx," which is regarded as one of the best solo albums from the Wu-Tang Clan. Raekwon is recognized as a pioneer of the Mafioso rap concept and sound.
