RAH Band is a British studio project group created by Richard A. Hewson, who began his career as an arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist in the late 1960s. In 1976, Hewson chose to produce, write, and perform his own music under the name RAH Band, derived from his initials. The following year, the instrumental track "The Crunch" reached the UK Top 10. In 1980, "Falcon" entered the Top 40, marking the beginning of a series of dance hits for the band. In 1985, another track featuring vocals by his wife provided Hewson with his second Top 10 single in the UK. Over the years, RAH Band has achieved seven UK hits and released records on various labels, including KR and Supreme Records, among others.
