Raïna Raï (Arabic: راينا راي‎) is an Algerian raï music group formed in December 1980 by four musicians from Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria. The group is known for its unique style that blends raï, rock, and diwane, combining traditional rhythms and instruments with rock elements. Throughout its history, Raïna Raï has undergone numerous separations and reformations, continually evolving since its inception. Today, the group is recognized as a pioneer of modern raï, often referred to as "electric raï."
