Ralfi Pagán was a Latin soul, disco, and salsa singer born in 1947 in the Bronx, New York, to Puerto Rican parents. He was active from the mid-1960s until his untimely death in 1978, when he was murdered while on tour in Colombia. Pagán specialized in soul ballads sung in both Spanish and English and released five albums during the 1970s. He is well known for his duet "Soul Je T'aime" and for his solo reworking of "Make It With You," which was previously recorded by other artists. The case of his murder remains unsolved to this day.
