Ralfi Pagan was a Latin soul, disco, and salsa singer born in 1947 in the Bronx, New York, to Puerto Rican parents. He was active from the mid-1960s until his untimely death in 1978, during which he specialized in soul ballads sung in both Spanish and English. Pagan released five albums during the 1970s and is well known for his duet "Soul Je T'aime" and his solo reworking of "Make It With You," which was previously recorded by other artists. Tragically, he was murdered while on tour in Colombia, and the case remains unsolved to this day.
