Ralp Lundsten was a Swedish musician, composer, author, and film director, born on October 6, 1936, in Luleå domkyrkoförsamling, Luleå, Norrbotten. He grew up in Ersnäs and passed away on July 5, 2023, in Boo, Nacka, Uppland. Lundsten was renowned as one of Sweden's most famous synthesizer players and composers of electronic music, often working in his own studio. He became a pioneer in the electronic experimental scene and was among the first to work in Stockholm. One of his most played works is the theme song "Ut i vida världen," which appeared as track 5 on Sveriges Radio International. In addition to his musical endeavors, Lundsten was also a visual artist, filmmaker, and author.
