Ralph Dollimore was a British jazz pianist, arranger, and composer born on December 20, 1930, in Ealing, London, England. He had a prolific career, working with notable musicians such as Kenny Graham in 1951, Terry Brown's Sextet in 1952, and Jimmy Walker's Quintet later that same year. Dollimore also played with Ted Heath from summer 1952 to early 1953, Eric Winstone in autumn 1953, and Geraldo in spring 1954. He served as a pianist for Petula Clark during variety shows across the UK in 1959 and collaborated with singer Matt Monro in 1961. In the mid-1960s, he led his own trio and returned to work with Ted Heath. In the 1970s and 1980s, Dollimore played as a pianist in a hotel in Monte Carlo before returning to Britain to form his own small group. He passed away on August 25, 1988, in London, England.
