Ralph MacDonald was a talented percussionist, songwriter, producer, and engineer, born on March 15, 1944, in Harlem, New York. He passed away on December 18, 2011, in Stamford, Connecticut, USA. Throughout his career, he released eight solo albums from 1976 to 1998. MacDonald co-wrote the hits "Where is the Love" and "Just The Two Of Us." He began his career at the age of 16 as a percussionist and was a member of Harry Belafonte's band for a decade. Over the years, he served as a session percussionist for numerous artists. In 1968, he co-founded a publishing and production company with his longtime songwriting partner. Additionally, he established another company in the mid-1970s. Ralph MacDonald was also a father.
