Sparrow & Barbossa is a Madrid-based DJ and producer duo formed by Swiss musician Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan artist Emiliano Haberli. Bryan, born into a musical family, is the son of legendary guitarist Francis Coletta, who collaborated with icons like Whitney Houston and Frank Sinatra. Emiliano, influenced by the African tribal rhythms of Candombe from his Uruguayan roots, began his music career in Europe in 2004, connecting with Madrid's electronic music scene and performing as a percussionist on DJ Chus's classic track 'El Amor.' The duo blends organic instruments with electronic sounds, leveraging their age difference to enhance their music. Bryan contributes modern melodies, while Emiliano focuses on rhythmic elements, drawing from his extensive experience.
