RAN Roger was an English vocalist, songwriter, and musician born on 21st February 1963 in Birmingham, England. He passed away on 26th March 2019. He was the father of the frontman of a band from 1978 to 1983. After their split, he formed a new group with another musician, performing as a singer and toaster from 1984 to 1987 and again from 1994 to 1997. In 1988, he released a solo album. In the early 1990s, he formed a band with ex-members of other groups and joined another band for their final studio album in 1997. In 2013, he formed a new band and released two studio albums until his sudden death in 2019.
