Ratata was a Swedish new wave and synth pop group formed in 1980 by Mauro Scocco, Heinz Liljedahl, Anders Skog, and Johan Kling. They achieved success during the 1980s, debuting with their first single "För Varje Dag" from their self-titled album, which also featured "Ögon Av Is." Prior to this, they contributed the song "Ett Plus Ett" to a compilation cassette published by the magazine Schlager in the summer of 1981, which was later included in the 1987 compilation album "Guld." The group made their live debut on the television program Casablanca in early 1983. Following some changes in the lineup, Scocco quickly assembled new musicians for a performance of "Princess On A Fan" and "Night After Night." From 1983 onward, Ratata operated as a duo consisting of Mauro Scocco and Johan Ekelund. They enjoyed significant hits in the 1980s with songs such as "Jackie," "I Dina Ögon," "Så Länge Vi Har Varann" (in collaboration with Anni-Frid Lyngstad), "Se Dig Inte Om," "Himlen," and "Glad Att Det Är Över."
