Raúl García Zárate (1 December 1931 - 29 October 2017) was a Peruvian guitarist known for his contributions to Andean music. Born in Ayacucho, Peru, he initially worked as a lawyer before dedicating himself to music. He was the brother of Nery García Zárate, with whom he performed. Raúl passed away in Lima, Peru.
