Ray Hanlon was a country artist from Elmwood, Illinois, who rose to prominence in the 1970s. He traveled the Midwest performing with his band, The Midstaters. In addition to his music career, Hanlon owned the Hub Ballroom in Edelstein, Illinois. He passed away on September 18, 2000.
