Razzy Bailey was an American country singer and songwriter, born on February 14, 1939, in Five Points, Alabama, and raised in Lafayette, Alabama. He first recorded for the B&K label in 1949. During the early 1960s, he worked various jobs, including as a truck driver, insurance salesman, and furniture salesman. In 1968, he formed the group Daily Bread, followed by The Aquarians in 1972. In 1974, he recorded as Razzy for MGM. Throughout his career, he achieved five #1 hits in country music. Razzy Bailey passed away on August 4, 2021, in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
