Regina Bell is a soul, jazz, and gospel singer-songwriter born on July 17, 1963, in Englewood, New Jersey. She studied opera at the Manhattan School of Music, developing her vocal style influenced by various artists. Regina began her career in soul music as an opening act for various gigs and recorded a duet with them in 1986 titled "Where Did We Go Wrong," which was included in their album "Back To Basics." In 1988, she signed with Columbia Records and released her first four albums, followed by four more albums from 1998 to 2008 under various record labels. Regina is known for her tradition of recording duets, including "Without You" (1987) with an unnamed artist, the Oscar and Grammy-winning "A Whole New World" (1992) from Disney's "Aladdin," and "All I Want Is Forever" (1988) and "Better Together" (1991) with unnamed collaborators. Among her biggest hits are "So Many Tears," "Show Me The Way," "Baby Come To Me," "Make It Like It Was," "What Goes Around," and "If I Could."
