Reginaldo Rossi (14 February 1944 – 20 December 2013) was a Brazilian musician and singer-songwriter, widely recognized as the "King of Brega." He underwent a thoracentesis on November 9, 2013, to remove accumulated fluids between the pleura and the lung. A biopsy confirmed lung cancer on November 11, 2013. Reginaldo Rossi passed away on December 20, 2013, at the age of 69 in his hometown of Recife, Pernambuco.
