R.E.M.

R.E.M. is a rock band hailing from Athens, Georgia, USA, formed in 1980. The band was active from its inception until 2011, with a reunion planned for 2024. The original lineup includes Bill Berry on drums and backing vocals, Peter Buck on guitar, mandolin, and banjo, Mike Mills on bass, keyboards, and backing vocals, and Michael Stipe as the lead vocalist. Berry was part of the band until 1997 before returning for the 2024 reunion. Bertis Downs served as the band's attorney and manager from 1980 to 2011, while Jefferson Holt managed the band from 1981 to 1996.
