Remko Scha was a Dutch creator known for his innovative music generated by motor-driven machines. He was also a composer and performer of algorithmic art. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Scha served as a professor of computational linguistics at The Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam. He was born on September 15, 1945, in Eindhoven and passed away on November 9, 2015, in Amsterdam.
