Ren Woods is a talented singer who gained recognition as a child prodigy, making her television debut on NBC's "Soul Special" at the age of 10. She later formed a pre-teen vocal group called Soul Five, which eventually transformed into Sunday's Child, releasing an eponymous album in 1970. Woods also showcased her talents on stage by starring in the first National Touring company of "The Wiz." In 1979, she released her solo album "Out of the Woods," which was initially intended to be produced by Maurice White but was ultimately produced by Al McKay of Earth, Wind & Fire due to label transitions. Her second album, "Azz Izz," followed in 1982 and included a new composition by Prince titled "I Don't Wanna Stop." Unfortunately, neither album achieved commercial success.
