Renaldo And The Loaf is a British duo from Portsmouth, consisting of Renaldo Malpractice (Brian Poole) and Ted the Loaf (David Janssen). They were "discovered" by the Residents after releasing a cassette of their first recording and subsequently signed to Ralph Records. The duo produced three albums between 1981 and 1987. After a series of deluxe reissues of their albums from 2013 to 2016, they reunited to release their new album, 'Gurdy Hurding,' in 2016. In 2018, they released a live album titled 'Long Time Coming,' which featured their first concert in nearly 40 years.
