Renato Gama is a talented musician based in Vila Nhocuné, a notable neighborhood in the east of São Paulo’s periphery. He embodies the struggle against prejudice and social injustice that arises from the margins of Brazilian society, serving as a voice for those often ignored by social elites. His diverse musical projects, particularly the Nhocuné Soul band, aim for cultural and artistic crossbreeding with a focus on social emancipation.
