René Lacaille is an accomplished accordionist, guitarist, musician, and songwriter originally from La Réunion, now based in Metropolitan France. Born in 1946 into a musical family, he began playing various instruments at the age of 7. In his twenties, he shifted his focus to the guitar before returning to the accordion after moving to France in 1979. He is also the father of an undisclosed child.
