Resplandor is a shoegaze band based in the Netherlands, known for blending shoegaze with elements of post-punk and post-rock. Their latest albums, "Tristeza" and "Pleamar," were produced by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins fame and mastered by Simon Scott from Slowdive. The current lineup includes Jomie Bagchus, Antonio Zelada, and Minne Davids. In 2025, Resplandor began the year with sold-out shows in Amsterdam and Paris, followed by notable performances in cities such as Berlin, Rotterdam, Leiden, The Hague, Düsseldorf, Kraków, Katowice, Antwerp, Utrecht, Malmö, and Copenhagen, as well as at the renowned Wave Gotik Treffen festival. They also collaborated with LSD and the Search for God for two sold-out shows in Utrecht and Paris. The band is set to continue their EU Tristeza Tour in 2026, with upcoming headlining dates in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. In 2023, Resplandor performed their latest album "Tristeza" as the opening act for The Cure during their Shows of a Lost World Tour, having previously supported the band in 2013. They have participated in various prestigious festivals, including Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Grauzone Festival in The Hague, Automatic Noise Festival in Amsterdam, SXSW in Austin, Culture Collide in Los Angeles, Half Die Festival in Rome, and Veltrac Music Festival
