The Rhead Brothers, comprised of John and Steve Rhead, emerged from Great Britain in the late 1970s, showcasing that exceptional West Coast music was not limited to sunny California. They recorded two albums, “Dedicate” and “Black Shaheen,” which are celebrated for their quality and continue to be cherished by music enthusiasts today. John Rhead reflects on their musical beginnings, the creation of their albums, his experiences with the Muscle Shoals music scene, and the duo's rediscovery in 2016.
