Rhian Sheehan is a New Zealand composer and recording artist known for his diverse soundtrack work across film, television, and multimedia projects. He has released five albums and two EPs. Sheehan has composed scores for several UK and US-produced Planetarium Fulldome shows, including “We Are Astronomers” (narrated by David Tennant), “We Are Aliens” (narrated by Rupert Grint), “We Are Stars” (narrated by Andy Serkis), and “Back To The Moon For Good” (narrated by Tim Allen), which is currently shown in over 400 planetariums worldwide. This project was produced by the UK’s National Space Centre, Google XPRIZE, and Robert K. Weiss. His music has been featured in various multimedia installations, including exhibits at London’s Natural History Museum and The Kennedy Space Center. In 2010, Sheehan received a Qantas Film & TV Award for Best Original Music in a TV Series for his work on the 12-part prime-time series "The Cult," and he also composed the score for the Emmy Award-winning series "Reservoir Hill." His compositions have been regularly featured on BBC Horizon, Top Gear, and channels like National Geographic, Discovery, and History.
