Rhubiqs is the solo project of London-based composer and sound designer Tom Squires. His music creates a world where electronic and ambient sounds intertwine, reminiscent of Selected Ambient Works, offering immersive soundscapes filled with thought-provoking textures, samples, and field recordings. In 2024, Squires joined a label to release his debut full-length LP, followed by his sophomore effort, Spectral Passage, in 2025. Sun-13.com described his work as "a series of compositions that are rich, alluring, and ethereal in equal measure." Additionally, Squires is a member of a post-rock group previously signed to a label and contributes to another project.
