Rhythm Makers is an American funk group hailing from the Bronx, New York City. Originally formed in 1968 under the name Sabu & The Survivors, the group was renamed to Rhythm Makers around 1978. They made a comeback in the mid-2000s as The Rhythm Makers. The lineup includes Emanuel “Rahiem” LeBlanc on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Keith Crier on bass guitar and vocals, Kenny Banks on drums and vocals, and Herb Lane on keyboards and vocals.
