Ricardo Vignini is a Brazilian viola caipira and guitar player, songwriter, music teacher, and phonographic and cultural producer. He is also a researcher of traditional music and the owner of a label dedicated to caipira music. Born in São Paulo on September 9, 1973, he is a founding member of a band formed in 1999 that pioneered the fusion of rock and Brazilian caipira music. In 2011, he created the gig/show "Moda de Rock," featuring reinterpretations of classic rock songs by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Metallica, the Rolling Stones, and Queen.
