Ricci Rucker, also known as Ruckazoid, is a multifaceted producer, DJ, vocalist, inventor, and developer. He is renowned for releasing the Utility Phonograph Record series, which was instrumental in pioneering DJ tools in the early 2000s. Rucker's innovative crossfader 'cut-in time' modifications have become standard features on most DJ performance mixers. He designed and named the 'Controller One,' the first musical turntable manufactured by Vestax. Additionally, he introduced the world's first DJ controller, Quickswitch. As a vocalist, he contributes to Breakbot and has collaborated with notable artists such as J Dilla, G-Eazy, and Chris Brown, for whom he has writing credits.
