Richard Burton was a Welsh-born actor and one of the leading Hollywood stars of the 1960s. He was born on November 10, 1925, in Pontrhydyfen, Wales, UK, and passed away on August 5, 1984, in Céligny, Switzerland. Burton served as the narrator on the double-album "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds" in 1978, which featured the classic synth-disco single "The Eve Of The War." He was married from 1949 to 1963, was married two times to another individual from 1964 to 1974 and again from 1975 to 1976. He was also a father.
