Richard Harris was an Irish singer and actor, born on October 1, 1930, in Limerick, Ireland. He was married from 1974 to 1982 and was the father of three children. Harris is best known for his roles in his later years, particularly as Marcus Aurelius in "Gladiator" (2000) and as Albus Dumbledore in the first two "Harry Potter" films (2001 and 2002). He passed away on October 25, 2002, in London, England, UK.
