Rick Wilhite is a US house and techno DJ, remixer, and producer hailing from Detroit, Michigan. In the 1980s, he worked for Buy Rite Music and later opened The House of Music record store in downtown Detroit. This store also inspired a series of releases that he has curated. Throughout his career, Wilhite has used various aliases, including DOC, Tech-12, and Working Mixx.
