Rifat Öncel was a Turkish singer, songwriter, and composer born in Kayseri on March 12, 1950. He began his music career in 1971 with his own composition, releasing the single "Oy Çimeno." His last record, "Hele Hele Vay," was released in 1973, but an accident prevented him from continuing his music career. After a long hiatus, he released his first and only studio album, "Canım Oğlum," in 1992. Rifat Öncel passed away in 2010 due to a heart attack.
