Rising Storm was a garage and folk rock group active at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, from 1965 to 1967. The original lineup included Bob Cohan (guitar), Todd Cohen (bass), Charlie Rockwell (keyboards), Tom Scheft (drums), Tony Thompson (guitar, lead vocals), and Rich Weinberg (guitar, vocals). They are most notable for their 1967 album, which has been recognized by rock and roll historian Richie Unterberger in Allmusic as "one of the rarest and most respected garage band albums."
