Rithma, born Etienne Stehelin in Topanga, first gained recognition between 1999 and 2001 with a series of 12” releases on labels such as Om Records, Tweekin, and Beau Monde. He has released two full-length albums and experienced many sleepless nights in the music industry. In 2009, Rithma stepped away from music to confront personal challenges, including addictions and various career pursuits. Now, he is safe, healthy, and back to making music, living in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
