Robert Babicz, born in 1973 in Poland, moved to Germany in 1980. He began releasing tracks in 1993 under his own name and various aliases, with one of his most famous being Rob Acid. In 1994, he formed a label and its sublabel with a collaborator. In 2010, he founded another label, and in 2015, he established a label specifically for Rob Acid releases. The live act and producer currently resides in Cologne, Germany.
