Robert Slap is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, engineer, and producer hailing from Detroit, Michigan. With a professional music career spanning over 50 years, his work encompasses a diverse range of styles, including blues, rock, new age, film music, and jazz. His journey began in 1966 with the Tidal Waves, whose record achieved national top 100 status. Throughout his career, Bob has collaborated with various groups and produced recordings for numerous artists, accumulating over twenty album credits. For the past two decades, he has focused on his solo work and composing music for film, television, documentaries, and video. He publishes his original music through his company, Highpooch Music Productions. Bob believes that "music is made to generate emotional response; life is a tapestry of ever-changing moods, colors, textures, and emotion," reflecting his deep connection to the art form as a means of expressing his innermost feelings.
