Roberta Flack was a renowned soul singer and songwriter, born on February 10, 1937, in Black Mountain, North Carolina, USA. She passed away on February 24, 2025, in Manhattan, New York City, USA. Over her career, which began in 1969, Flack recorded 16 albums, both solo and in duet. She is best known for her hit singles "Killing Me Softly," "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," and "Feel Like Makin' Love." Flack collaborated with several artists, recording two albums with each of them. In 1981, she recorded the soundtrack for "Bustin' Loose" and sang the title song for the movie "Making Love" (1982), which was written by an unnamed songwriter. In 1991, she released a duet entitled "Set The Night To Music." Additionally, her godson was a jazz/funk keyboardist.
