Robertinho do Recife, born in 1953 in Recife, Brazil, is a talented Brazilian guitarist, record producer, and composer. He began playing guitar at the age of 10 after being inspired by The Beatles during a period of recovery from an accident. His grandfather gifted him his first guitar, and by the age of 12, he was already performing with bands in Recife. Known for his impressive technique, Robertinho has collaborated with various bands, including Watch Pocket, Chicago, and Quiet Riot, and has explored a wide range of musical styles, from children's music to heavy metal and neoclassical. In the late 1980s, he played with the Brazilian band Yahoo, performing a cover of "Love Bites" by Def Leppard. Currently, he works as a music producer in his own studio in Rio de Janeiro and has collaborated with notable artists such as Xuxa, Geraldo Azevedo, Zé Ramalho, and Raimundo Fagner.
