Roberto de la Barrera was a Colombian salsa pianist, composer, orchestra director, and producer from Cartagena. He passed away on October 2, 2003. In the 1960s, he created the groups Orquesta Ecos and "Roberto De La Barrera Y Su Sonora." He had previously played with the Discos Fuentes Orchestra and served as the artistic director of Discos Fuentes in the early 1960s. Alongside his brother, he managed the recording facility and label.
