Rocketship is a band known for their quirky '60s-influenced bedroom pop that blends elements of shoegaze and psychedelic drone. The group originated in 1993, featuring singer/songwriter guitarist Dustin Reske, keyboardist Heidi Barney, bassist Verna Brock, and drummer Jim Rivas. By 1996, Rocketship was primarily the project of Dustin Reske, who wrote the music and lyrics, initially recording solo before collaborating with other performers. Since 2015, the band's vocalist has been Ellen Osborn.
