Rockwell, born Kennedy William on March 15, 1964, in Detroit, is an American vocalist and producer known for his brief career in the mid-1980s. He gained prominence with his hit single "Somebody's Watching Me" in 1983. Rockwell is the son of a label creator and was named after John F. Kennedy and William "Smokey" Robinson. He has a paternal half-sister, actress Rhonda Ross Kendrick, who is the eldest child of his father.
