Rom Di Prisco is a classically trained composer, producer, and remixer with over 20 years of experience in creating music for video games, TV, and film. He has contributed to more than 50 video game titles, including popular games like Fortnite, Guacamelee!, Need for Speed, and Mass Effect 2. Rom has collaborated closely with Epic Games, producing music for official Unreal Engine tech demos and promotional materials. In addition to his work as a composer, Rom is an experienced sound designer and mastering engineer, contributing to many titles throughout his career. He specializes in adaptive and interactive music for video games and has developed adaptive music systems for leading game developers. His collaborations include studios such as Epic, Sega, Capcom, and Electronic Arts. With over 25 years of music production experience, Rom has released music on more than 30 record labels globally, including Bedrock and Nettwerk. He has also remixed tracks for various artists. His television and film credits include work for shows like NCIS and The Sopranos, and his music has been featured on several major networks. A passionate gamer, Rom collects video game paraphernalia, including over 30 game consoles and hundreds of games. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of game audio and has taught music composition and sound design at UOIT. Currently, he is developing new content for a series of guest lecture presentations.
